SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.
An eclectic dining experience with antique
tables, couches, and overstuffed chairs to relax in while
enjoying an evening out. Chef/Owner Brenden Crocker cooks
for flavor, not fad, delivering generous portions of the freshest
local seafood and finest cuts of meat cooked to perfection
at his wood fired grill and brick oven. Thyme and onion focaccia
are baked daily on premise.
Our famous martini/cigar bar boasts the
largest vodka, scotch, bourbon and port selection on the North
Shore, as well as 26 fine crafted draught beers. Not "that"
hungry? The Wild Horse lounge menu includes Brenden's famous
pineapple and rum braised ribs, succulent wood~grilled burgers
and nachos with home made guacamole, salsa, and black beens.
So grab a couch or pull up a stool. We want to feed you.
Brenden schooled at Johnson and Wales
in Providence then furthered his studies in New Orleans. When
he returned to New England he worked briefly at Au Beaujolais
in Gloucester before acting as opening chef at the Wild Horse
Cafe in 1996. In April of 1999 Brenden and Milissa purchased
the business adding his name to the awning - thus Brenden
Crocker's Wild Horse Cafe was born.
Brenden's wife Milissa worked her way
through school in various bartending positions in Boston before
a bar managing stint with the Barnsider Group. She also worked
briefly at Au Beaulolais in Gloucester before joining up with
Brenden at the Wild Horse in 1996. She helped set up the original
martini list and today oversees the front of house and bar.
